Lead a team of eager huskies through the snow-covered Arctic landscape.
Did you know that Malangen Resort is one of the few dog sledding providers in northern Norway where the dogs are not chained together but instead share a kennel with two good friends ?
We start the adventure with a lesson on controlling your husky team. Two people share each sled (a driver and a passenger) with the option of switching places halfway.
Dog sledding is one of the best experiences on offer in the North !
IMPORTANT NOTES
– Please meet at the dog’s yard at least 15’minutes before the activity timing. Take into consideration that you will have a little walk of 20’min up hill to the camp.
– The recommended minimum age for this activity is 8. (Very young kids will be taken with an adult on the mushers’sled).
– Children aged 8 to 16 will ride on the sled, while older participants may drive the sled themselves if weather conditions permit.
– This activity requires A GOOD PHYSICAL LEVEL to push the sled and help the dogs climbing little hills.
– Participation is NOT ALLOWED for pregnant women. Additionally, this activity is NOT RECOMMENDED for individuals with physical health conditions or back pain.
